Policy Change - Messaging Gateway Security Appliances Support Program

We are pleased to announce that beginning October 1, 2007, Secure Computing will be including a three-year hardware warranty with the purchase of any new Secure Computing Messaging appliance.* This new program enables us to provide a standardized set of industry leading software support and hardware warranty programs for all of our Secure Computing appliances.

Upon the purchase of a new Messaging Gateway Security appliance (IronMail, Edge or IronIM family of products), on October 1, 2007 and later, customers will receive the following:

• A three-year hardware warranty at no additional cost
• An option to purchase software support in one, two or three year increments
• An option for an additional extended hardware warranty that provides coverage for a total of five years

For customers that have purchased Messaging appliances prior to October 1, 2007, the following support contract renewal options will be available:

For Messaging Models S10A (IM10A), S25A, S50A, S100A (112), 305, 345A, 345B, 345X:

Beginning October 1, 2007 through the remainder of 2007, renewals of support contracts can be purchased for one or two years of software support. Both one and two-year support contracts will include a one year hardware support extension. Any renewal support contracts purchased after December 31, 2007 will be for 12 month software support only.

For Messaging Models S10B, S25B, S50B, S100B, E2000A, E2000B, E2000C, E3000A, E3000B, E5000A, E5000B, C10000A, C10000B:

Beginning October 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008, renewals of support contracts can be purchased for one or two years. These support contracts will include both hardware support and software support for the full time purchased in the renewal contract. Any renewal support contracts purchased after June 30, 2008 will be for 12 month software support only.
