Please find below the initial Snapgear Channel Newsletter which I will endeavour to release as often as there is newsworthy developments.

 1. 3.15u2 firmware was released late last week for General Availablility. This is the first real release of Trusted Source in the SG. There have also been a multitude of changes to the GUI in all areas as well as a number of problem resolutions. See the website for the Release Notes or I can email you the document if you require. 2. Licenses for TS are available including trial licenses, see the price list. Initially we were going to enable the TS Eval at the time of registering however it has been decided to make it available as an orderable license instead, so make sure you order a number of the Eval licenses for your customers, part number is TRSG-SG-6-EV and is free (except for the courier charge). These will only be available for order for a limited time (a few months) when they will revert to a 1 month trial license.

3. WW and TS licenses as of today are being despatched from the Brisbane office. It will remain SC policy to ship a paper copy of the licenses.

 4. The Clam AV database has increased rapidly so much that it now does not run natively in the SG565 and SG580 unless you update your firmware to 3.15 and use extra storage. You need to add storage either a USB key on the SG565 or a network attached storage for either the SG565 or SG580. A new feature in 3.15u2 allows you to reduce the AV database to only the most recent and relevant signatures so it will run in memory. However it will still be very advantageous to use a shared drive.
