IOLAN Version 3.6 Firmware adds Advanced Features and Functionality

Windows Emergency Management Services – SAC support:  Enable administrators to access the Special Administrative Console (SAC) available under Windows Server 2003/2008. With point and click usage, administrators can perform critical recovery functions, show system performance as well as list and kill processes.

Personalized Factory Default:  Designed for large scale deployment scenarios, the feature enables administrators to define and set their own customized factory defaults for IOLAN units saving costs associated with any recovery or upgrade processes.

Digital I/O extension:  I/O tunnelling provides a cable replacement solution by transmitting input signals to remote outputs over an Ethernet or IP network. Remote sensors can be connected to PLC controllers, DCS systems, or display devices over a network using an IP Ethernet network infrastructure.

Allow Admin users to be able to access menus with IOLAN’s Easyport tool:  This improves ease of use by allowing administrators to have access to all functions with a single sign-on.

Save configuration file with Netsave as a text file:  Users can then modify the text using readily available text editors for download to IOLAN units deployed in the field.
